On Friday, April 28, a team of volunteers transformed a sports hall at the festival into an atmospheric, ancient Jewish market \u2013 and there was room for many children. Over 100 children at the festival participated in the journey in time, along with many dedicated mentors and leaders.<\/p>\n

The offer to join the time travel with Bible Kids was first introduced at last year’s Spring Festival, but with a limited number of participants.<\/p>\n

“<\/em><\/span>That’s why we’re especially pleased that this year we could offer this to all children in the target group<\/span>,”<\/em> says Claudia Grimes, who had the main responsibility for the program on behalf of DCG Deutschland.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Courage and trust in God<\/span><\/h3>\n

This year’s time travel with the theme of Queen Esther was organized in collaboration between DCG and the children’s team at Spring. Children between the ages of seven and twelve participated in small groups, led by dedicated group leaders. Through films, activities, and conversations, the children learned about the poignant and inspiring story of Queen Esther \u2013 and the powerful message of being brave with trust God.<\/p>\n

In addition, festival attendees were able to visit the exhibition area, where a team from DCG presented the Bible Kids products. Both children and adults got to test the Bible Kids app, which offers biblical animated films made especially for children.<\/p>\n

A faith festival for the whole family<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Spring Festival is an interdenominational event that has taken place every year since 1998, in the week after Easter. The festival is organized by Evangelische Allianz in Deutschland, of which DCG is a part. This year, the festival gathered around 3,000 participants for church services, lectures, workshops, and concerts \u2013 and a varied and rich program for children, young people, and adults.<\/p>\n

About DCG Deutschland and BCC Media<\/span><\/h3>\n

DCG Deutschland is an evangelical free church that shares the same basis of faith as BCC. BCC Media collaborates with DCG on dubbing, translating, and distributing the Bible Kids products to German-speaking children.<\/p>\n
