It was during this holiday that the story of Jesus that we know as the Easter story unfolded. Easter has become one of the most important holidays for Christians.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"lead\">What does Easter mean for us today?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"lead\">At Easter, Jesus sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified and died, even though He was completely innocent.  <span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">But he rose again on the third day, death could not hold him.  <\/span>Jesus had never sinned, so He wasn\u2019t really supposed to die. Satan had no right to claim His life.  When Jesus died on the cross anyway, He died for the sins we have committed so that we can be reconciled with God. That means that our sins are forgiven and we can come back into a right relationship with God. <span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">But Jesus did not only die for our sins, through the life he lived every day, he paved a way out of sin.
