Jesus is our friend and really wants to help us! For example, we can pray to Him when we’re sick. Or when it seems difficult for us to be good and kind. And of course, Jesus will help us. We can believe in Him and that He always hears what we pray for.
In the film, Sarah and Simon see Jesus heal a lame man. The man’s friends are bold, which means they aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes to reach Jesus. They even make a hole in the roof! And Jesus hears what they are asking for and helps them.
We don’t need to be afraid to ask for help from Jesus, our friend, either. He loves it when we are bold and show that we believe in Him and love Him. He really wants to help us as well!
