SOME TIPS

Children love to explore and find solutions themselves. Let them try by themselves first, but help them if they don’t progress. Another good tip is to name one child as the ‘gamemaster’ on each activity. This child controlls the computer for the current task. The mentor is able to include children who maybe don’t say so much by giving give them an active role in the group for a specific task. .

  3. Set up some obstacles between the starting line and the colored areas

  4. When all the children are behind the starting line, the mentors say “ready, set, go!” and the children run through the obstacles to the color they think is the correct answer.
  5. The mentor or the child controlling the computer presses the color that most of the children have chosen on the website.
  6. If the answer is correct, the children have progressed on the minefield, and the next task is displayed.
  7. If the answer is wrong, Haman appears. The children then get another chance to answer the question. The mentors themselves can decide whether the children should run through the obstacles again or just answer directly on the website.
