Noah was righteous and loved God
In this theme package, children learn about Noah’s ark. Back in Noah’s time, people did lots of evil things and God wanted to send a great flood to the earth to wash away all the evil and bad things. But God warned Noah and his family about the flood, because they loved God and wanted to do the good things God had said.
God loves all people and really wanted to warn everyone, but only Noah heard what God wanted to say; the others were too busy with their own lives.
Noah’s family were the only people to escape the flood. But God had also made sure that one male and one female of every kind of animal and bird were saved, so that we could keep on having animals on earth. After that, God promised Noah that He would never again would send a flood over the earth. The rainbow is a sign of that promise.
Animated film: Noah´s ark
In the animated film, we meet Simon and Sarah on a rainy day. They are in their grandfather’s garage learning how to use a hammer and nails. Then it stops raining and the rainbow appears. It reminds Grandpa of a Bible story that he wants to tell the children.
When Noah was alive, people began to do evil things. This made God very sad; He had created the earth so that people could live here and be happy. So God wanted to send a great flood over the earth. To wash away all the evil and sad things.
Noah and his family loved God and wanted to do what God said. God told Noah to build a big boat so that he and his family could be rescued. Noah brought two animals of each kind into the ark along with his family. Soon it began to rain. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights, just as God had told Noah.
Doing what God has said
God saved Noah and his family because they loved God and wanted to do what He said. God also tried to save the other people, but they would not listen and would not believe in Him.
From this, the children can learn that God loves what is good and wants us to be happy. God does not like what is evil. But He has promised that He will not send a flood over the whole earth again. He will always look after those who love Him.
